Church of Santa María

The church of Santa María (Saint Mary) was built sometime from the 16 th to the 17 th centuries. It is a probably one of the most painted churches in the world. Within the church, one will find a magnificent baroque altarpiece that was made in the 1700s. The altarpiece is dedicated to La Mare de Deu de l'Esperanca, a patron saint of the village; it depicts a pregnant Madonna, the coronation of Mary, with figures of Jesus Christ and angels.

Ermita de Sant Baldiri
This church was built in 1702. It is dedicated to Saint Baldiri and is located in Port Lligat.

Casa Dalí (House of Salvador Dalí)

Salvador Dalí's abode used to be a lowly fisherman's house until Dalí bought it from him. It then became the birthplace of some of Dalí's most famous surrealist works. The house itself is a shrine for fans of the surrealist style of art and has been, in fact, converted into an art museum.

Dalí's Memorial

Dalí's memorial is found at Es Passeig , the town's main square. Salvador Dalí is one of Cadaqués' most important and well-known figures.
