Beaches |
 |
Cadaqués' main beach, unfortunately, is not very suitable for a beach holiday. It is stony and too narrow and crowds quickly. Also, its proximity to the harbors of the village means that there are many boats anchored nearby - a possible eyesore for vacationers. There are, however, a few smaller beaches on other points on the coast that are more suitable for a day on the beach.
S'Alqueria Beaches
There are two beaches on the bay of S'Alqueria, which is close to Port Lligat. On both beaches, the shore is pebbly instead of sandy, and rocky outcroppings surround the tiny shore area.
Cala Culip
Cala Culip is a small, secluded beach on the Cap de Creus. Because of its seclusion, not very many people frequent it, and the place is relatively unspoiled.
Llane Gran
The Llane beach is a mere five minute walk away from the village center in Cadaqués. It is a family-oriented beach; parents come here with their children and the waters are calm and clear. Like most other beaches on the Cadaqués coast, the shore here is pebbly rather than sandy.
